Data Collection and Polices

Nationally Consistent Collection of Data Student with Disabilities

Our school is taking part in a national project that supports students with disabilities and learning difficulties, known as the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). As part of this project, we have been asked to share information about the number of students who need additional support and the types of learning needs they have. Individual students and schools are not identified in the data.

The purpose of the NCCD is to better understand the different needs of students and the kinds of support schools provide. This includes looking at the programs, adjustments, and resources used to help students overcome challenges, participate fully, and succeed in their learning.

We believe it is important to contribute to this project because it helps the Government and the Education Department plan for the level of resources schools need to support all students effectively.

School Census

The school census is an annual collection completed by non-government schools that receive recurrent funding from the Australian Government. It provides information about schools, their students, and their staff to inform the community and the Australian Government.
